[ARGH! they need to allow us bigger titles!... also forgive me for not coloring the background. in a bit I will do few scene scapes of areas on Sauria, anyway.... so we heard a little from Brady's past of being on Smangladore, but it seems that some of the Saurillians have to say otherwise. lets see how Krystal and Kate's first time in a Sauiran City goes.]

I fell asleep in Jurrek's arms as he gently ran across the landscape. later I woke up and it was cracking dawn... it was the first I have seen sunlight in days.

the trees were thinning and approaching the edge of the forest.

I looked in awe as the light finally flashed open a whole new scene of beauty and wonder.
the scene was gorgeous.

we were now on a grassy steppe with beautiful purple mountains off in the distance to the east and to the west was a massive metropolis of stone and steel structures.

we ran across the steppe for at least an hour, the beautiful air filled my lungs. I then saw, out of the top of the grass, long necks with heads on them pop up. the heads were narrow and the necks were very slender. the creatures stood about 8 feet tall and were bipedal.

they made wonderful noises, like young birds with an elk.
they were golden like the grass, they began to run along side us and then broke off into different Parts of the Steppe.

later the Steppe began to vanish and sand began to billow.

we came across to desert plains.
the sky was a brilliant blue and the air was just mildly hot and strong.

then off the horizon was a large wall, amde of steel and stone. with large steel and wooden spikes jutting out in a defensive manner.

in one part of the wall was a massive gate.

as we approached the gate we began to slow down.
then Helar made a loud brilliant call. like a lion with an eagle.

then the gates slowly slid open.
we quickly scurried inside and the doors slammed shut.
inside was actually much different that the desert wastes out there.

there were many plants, but not to numerous. mainly potted but very few growing on the ground. many of the structures were built from a combination of stone and steel. the ground was a stone and hardened sand. there were not many structures more than three stories tall.

they set us down and Kate came over to me.

there were many people, living rather well. of all different colors and sizes.

Helar walked over to us.
"let us take you to our clan leader." he said

I nodded, I didn't see why not.
Kate followed close to me.
we then arrived to a structure, larger than most of the others. it was a deep brown with two beautiful flowers sitting by the main door.

Helar walked inside. I head him talking to someone.

then he walked out, and then was followed by a tall female Saurillian.

she was a jade green with black hair. her cloths were different shades of brown and she had a sword on her hilt

she came and looked at us.
she was quiet and then whispered something to Helar.

she then looked at us and then bowed.

we quickly did the same.

she rose up and smiled.
"welcome to Harnaluke. the main Saurillian village. your kind are not seen here very often.... where are you from?" she asked.

I cleared my throat.
"we are from the Lylat system, over in the 19th quadrant of space." I said

she rose an eyebrow.
"how did you get here?" she asked "a space frigate crash again?" she asked

"no, we found a portal on the planet Sauria-" I began

I stopped as I noticed she was staring at me, well actually my necklace.

she quickly reached out and picked it up and looked at it closer.

she was wide eyes, then she gasped and narrowed her eyes again.
she looked me right in the eyes.

"where did you get this!?!" she demanded

"what my necklace? my mother gave it to me?" I said

she shifted her eyes a little.

"who did you come here with?" she said

I paused
"we arrived here with Falco Lombardi, Fox McCloud, Slippy Toad, Kate O'Donnell, adn Brad-." I began but then she put her hand up.

"okay... so this "Brady", dose he have black spiked hair, rather tall, and rather powerful appearence?" she asked

I slowly nodded.
she took in a deep breath.
" okay... I ahd a feeling." she siad

she then looked at us.

"you will be taken care of, you can stay in my home for now and we will see if we can find your comrades. and if this is the same Brady that I know.... your friends will be here quickly." she said, then she quickly walked into home.

"come along, we have much to discuss." she said

I looked at Kate and she nodded okay.
we walked into the home and we talked with the woman.

she asked us what we know about Brady now and what he told us. and what kinds of things he has done to aid us in our quest.

then I asked her a question.

"what is your name?" I asked her.

she laughed
"sorry, I should have said that first off, my name is Keta."

that name was going to play a key role in a new book of mystery that would shake the very foundations of everything we knew at the time.

I had a feeling that I had more to do with Brady than I realized. I was hoping more would be explained in time.

[whoho! looks like things are just unraveling more each time. and what dose this new friend have to play? what kind of connection dose Krystal have in this? and what of kate? will she be cured of the red Eye before it is to late? find out more next chapter!!!]
